she’s got an eager smile on her face , standing close by the door – SPED right over here , ready with a million excuses for her mom the next day ( really , though , it was hard for mrs. wheeler to stay mad for any duration of time with all that’s transpired as of late . it worked , in many ways , to nancy’s advantage ). her hand made quick work of knocking on the door , peeking carefully into the side window , to little avail .

    Hurry up! It’s freezing!

       _{the words are obvious teasing, the extra exclamation points just his excitement bleeding through his so-called}  cool exterior.  _{in his opinion, it’s been too long since they’ve both gotten together, just to hang out, and he’s really glad they’re finally doing something. after getting Will back, he’d honestly had a few doubts about their friendship, not exactly sure if it’d last, but Nancy was too nice to simply drop him out of nowhere. he liked that about her… among other things. he was pulled out of his thoughts by another knock on the door and he smiled to himself as he dropped his phone on the couch and did a half-jog over to the door. he took a deep breath before he was turning the doorknob and  pulling the door open to reveal Nancy. he shivered as the cold air swept in and cursed himself for choosing short sleeves, as he stepped back to allow Nancy entrance.}
