╰ ♡ as if he’d had a choice. it was either FIND NANCY or die trying. There was no way he would’ve left her out there with that… thing. He’d been too high on the adrenaline of the situation and the fear that he’d let another person be taken by the monster to even think about giving up. with fingers laced together in his lap, hard enough that he had little crescent shapes from his nails in his skin, he simply stared at Nancy for a long time; almost desperately. the adrenaline was slowly slipping away and he was left with that fear. sure, he’d found Nancy, but what if Will wasn’t so lucky? if he’d just been home, like he was supposed to, maybe he would’ve found him the way he found Nancy. What if he’s too late and it’s all his fault?
