phone’s quick to be pocketed as she jumps eagerly off her bed & makes her way downstairs , footsteps quiet as a whisper so as not to alert the wardens of her potential escape ( god , mom & dad were so tightly wound these days ! ). she’s lucky to get out unscathed . as soon as she’s outside , her shoulders relax & she’s back on her phone , writing assurances .
