          _{he nods rather enthusiastically as he jonathan reveals the name   &   creator of the song playing.  it makes his smile grow even wider,  pearly whites flashing as he gazes over at jonathan’s radio.   “  yeah,  it’s really,  really cool.  ”   he enjoyed spending time with his brother.  he felt on top of the moon when he was able to be in his room   &   listen to the things his older brother listened too.  it made him feel older then he was,  like he wasn’t some little kid.  his friends didn’t like listening to music,  they’d rather bike   &   play board games   ——   things will did enjoy,  but sitting here in his brothers room,  listening to saints   &   sinners  was far better then any races or games he’d win against mike,  dustin   &   lucas.}

                                             ^{╰ ♡         at  the  mention  of  their  mom,  jonathan  reaches  over  to  the  music  player  and  turns  the  volume  down  a  few  notches,  just  so  they  can  talk  comfortably.  there’s  no  way  he’d  turn  the  music  all  the  way  off.  it’s  the moments  were  he  and  will  get  to  spend  quality  time  with  each  other,  that  he  loves  the  most.  it’s  nothing  but  them  and  the  good  times;  perfect  memories  in  the  making.  when  they  just  relax  and  listen  to  music,  it’s  like  nothing  can  touch  them.  not  a  work  -  tired  mother,  nor  an  absent  father.}
