_{^{‘  SO  …..  WHAT  DID  YOU  THINK  ABOUT  THE  CAMERA  —  ?  ’   there’s a gleam twinkling in her blue eyes and a smile threatening to break out on pink tinted lips.  it wasn’t really a christmas gift,  per se,  as he wouldn’t have needed it if steve hadn’t smashed the one jonathan had in the first place,  but the sentiment was still in place.  nancy had wanted to thank him,  too,  for being there when she needed it  &  for believing her when it felt as though she was losing her mind.   ‘  see,  i wasn’t sure which one you had before,  but i went and talked to the guy at the store and he said this one was pretty good,  so  …..  well,  did it work,  at least?  ’}}

    ^{❝   oh, IT’S PERFECT, Nancy.  ❞    with every new picture he took with that camera, he was reminded of the sweet kiss that was pressed into his cheek. it still baffled him why she decided to give him anything at all, it’s not as if she had to. Yeah, he was upset about his other camera, but he wasn’t angry anymore. when Steve showed up at his house and assisted him and Nancy in the killing of the ‘  demogorgon  ‘ ( as Will keeps calling it ) Jonathan considered that as CLEANING THE SLATE. he still appreciated it, of course, it’s the best gift he’s received in a long time. did it work. the words widened the smile that had already been forming. ❝   it’s amazing. mom keeps making me take pictures of Will… all of us together. seriously, thank you.   ❞}
