  ^{‘ mm-mm. ’  with a quick shake of his head, the small disagreeing hum follows after. it’s easy to see how shaken up jonathan is — how could anyone not be after the last couple of weeks ? — and he knows the WORRY isn’t close to leaving. there has always been an unspoken responsibility his friend holds for his younger sibling  ;  so when he thinks something is wrong, there has to be a good reason.}

       ^{jonathan appreciated andrew more than ever at that moment. he obviously knows how much the boy doesn’t speak, but to hear him try has jonathan already feeling a bit better about everything. the tiny stutters take his mind off the perils that may await him once he returns home. lately, he hasn’t been leaving much, too scared that if he does come back he’ll find out that his brother had really never been found and it was some awful dream.}
